Liverpool have seen a £50m offer for Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh rejected, as they continue their search for attacking reinforcements.
The 22-year-old Gambia international has made 73 appearances for Brighton, contributing 10 goals and nine assists during his time with the club.
Minteh primarily operates on the right side of the attack. Brighton signed him from Newcastle for £30m in 2024, but the winger is currently recovering from a leg injury suffered during a friendly against Roma earlier this month.
Liverpool’s priority for the remainder of the transfer window is to add more options in wide attacking areas following the departure of Mohamed Salah. The club are expected to continue exploring several targets as they assess the market.
The Reds have already strengthened their forward options this summer with the signing of Victor Munoz from Osasuna for £34m. Munoz can operate both on the wing and through the centre.
